Trip Description

Discover Scotland, a land of legend, filled with rolling highlands, remote lochs and of course, incomparable golf courses. Join us in St. Andrews the legendary home of golf, where the game has been "nurtured and developed" for 600 years. St. Andrews is the only course to have held the British Open more often than Prestwick, 2010 marks it's 28th time hosting. Make your way to golfing mecca to play on the same courses that make pros into champions. During your week you will play two rounds at St. Andrew's (Old Course subject to handicap maximum and application approval) and three additional rounds at the local courses of choice. We recommend Gleneagles, Kingsbarns and Carnoustie. Round out your authentic Scottish experience with whiskey tastings and gourmet meals.

    Day 2: Gleneagles - Kinross

Enjoy a round of golf to the Gleneagles King's Course. The King's Course, opened in 1919, is a masterpiece of design, which has tested the aristocracy of golf, both professional and amateur. When Lee Trevino first played here, he remarked “if Heaven is as good as this, I sure hope they have some tee times left”. Braid’s plan for the King’s Course was to test even the most accomplished golfers’ shot making skills, a goal he achieved with admirable results. One of the most exhilarating venues at which to play golf, the King’s Course offers a majestic layout, springy moorland turf and sweeping views of the surrounding countryside.
