Overview
The Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge is the only hotel located adjacent to the ancient citadel of Machu Picchu. One of the world's major heritage sites, this is a sacred and magical place of spectacular sunrises and mystical moonlit nights. Deluxe King Mountain View Room furnished with a king-size bed offer an amazing view of the tropical mountains, and the jungle across the Urubamba River. The Deluxe Twin Mountain View & Terrace Rooms at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge offer views of the surrounding tropical mountains and forests. Rooms are appointed with twin beds, a terrace with lounge furniture and one dining table. Rooms are equipped with a telephone, satellite TV, radio/alarm clock with docking station, minibar, safety-deposit box and a private bathroom with shower only. The hotel also offers a laundry service and guests can choose to dine in the privacy of their room.
The Sanctuary Lodge has two comfortable Presidential Suites, with king size bed, and prime views from the outdoor terrace. The suites benefits from a nice indoor sitting area and a separate bedroom. Suites are 35 square meters in size. Suites are equipped with a telephone, satellite TV, radio/alarm clock with docking station, minibar, safety-deposit box and private bathroom with shower only. The Sanctuary Lodge has 17 Superior Rooms which have a view of an inner courtyard. The rooms have comfortable king sized beds or you can choose a room with two twin beds. With a maximum capacity of 72 people, Tampu Restaurant Bar features natural materials such as stone and wood, in keeping with the overall environmentally harmonious style.
