Overview
The five star design hotel Vigilius mountain Resort is elegantly embedded in the surrounding landscape of the car-free Vigiljoch in South Tyrol. Accessible by cable car within a few minutes from the village of Lana in the Isarco valley, the hotel features a marvellous view of the distant Dolomites and the surrounding mountain scenery. The Resort was built around hundred year old larches, which today are part of the Paradise Garden. Re-awaken your senses with a natural fir cone foot reflexology, or enjoy the panorama terrace where you cannot get enough of the marvellous view of the Alps. In the library, books, volumes of photographs, and games offer refreshment for the intellect. Every evening at 10 p.m., a film is presented: an ageless old favourite or a new classic. Rooms
Superior rooms are cozy, located on the ground floor with terrace, or on the first floor with balcony. Deluxe rooms have balcony and a marvellous view of the South Tyrolean mountains. Suite (72 sqm) with a balcony or terrace and a marvellous view of the South Tyrolean mountains. The modern designer sofa is accompanied by a corner bench and antique country furniture, providing the room with an air of South Tyrolean tradition. All rooms and suites have a natural clay wall which divide the bathroom from the sleeping area with its panorama view. Room amenities: separate toilet, hair dryer, toilet articles from South Tyrol, bathrobe and bath shoes, telephone, Hifi stereo with I-Pod connection, free HDSL access, mini bar, safe. The Restaurant 1500 captivates with its unobtrusive elegance – a stylish ambiance for one’s well-being. Enjoy a delicious breakfast or dinner with a great view of the Dolomites, the stars and the distant lights of the valley. The Parlour Ida embodies cosiness and tradition. The warm, hundred-year-old tiled stove, and the typical South Tyrolean interior reflect the local history. The lunch menu likewise offers traditional dishes, down-to-earth and genuine delicacies from the region – and in the afternoon, home-made cakes are offered in the cosy parlour or outside on the attached sun terrace, with a splendid view of the distant Dolomites. The viglius wine cellar harbours a delicate choice of wines from South Tyrol and the Alps, as well as Italian and international wines.

Vast panorama windows draw nature into the rooms at the Vigilius Mountain Spa, while swimming, having a sauna, or doing Watsu in the whirlpool. Juicy apples from South Tyrol, fresh spring water from the Vigiljoch, and a great variety of teas invite you to enjoy them.
