Overview
The Carlton George (4*) hotel is located in the heart of the city next to George Square and adjacent to Queen's Street mainline station which offers a direct line to Edinburgh in less than 40 minutes. A beautiful building redeveloped as a hotel in 1999, it has an elegant entrance and is prominent within the city as one of the best hotels.
Rooms
All the rooms are furnished to the highest standard, and are large in size. The furnishings are luxurious and the decor is quite traditional, but with all the technological innovations expected of a brand new deluxe hotel. The bathrooms are also all in excellent condition. All rooms have their own complimentary mini-bar, ironing board and iron, and safe box.
Executive rooms have plenty of space and in addition to the all the amenities of their Superior rooms they feature access to the exclusive Executive Lounge. WiFi internet access and free local calls, relax and enjoy a complimentary drink from your Minibar or decanters of spirits.
Club rooms are located on the front of the building and overlook West George Street, so you can watch the world go by while you relax with free WiFi internet access, complimentary drinks and snacks. You can even enjoy your music on the iPod dock in your room.
