The Four Seasons Resort's 175 guest rooms, suites and residences capture the exotic character of Costa Rica, with comfortable rattan and bamboo furnishings, local artwork and indigenous wood and stone finishes.
Rooms
Offering exceptional privacy for secluded relaxation, the Canopy one-bedroom suites are separate units nestled into the hillside. Many are perched on stilts and accessed by their own ramped pathway. Set in the uppermost tree level, the canopy, these suites offer views of the surrounding tropical dry forest or the bay, and include a furnished, landscaped patio with an adjoining infinity-edge pool. Canopy Suites with Plunge Pool are suitable for couples on a special anniversary or honeymoon, or for families with older children. These suites are a golf-cart ride or a five-minute walk from the Resort's pools, beaches, restaurants and other facilities. The outdoor patio is a spacious extension of the suite and is furnished with a dining table, chaises lounges and a serene infinity-edge plunge pool with mesmerizing views. Each suite features a double sofa bed, entertainment unit with international cable television and DVD player, large desk with two-line speaker telephone, built-in safe and high-speed Internet access. The marble bathroom includes a deep soaking tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, large double vanity, and WC in a separate room. A guest powder room with shower is located off the living area.
The 145 generously sized guest rooms and suites are imaginatively crafted with indigenous woods and stone finishes. Each room seamlessly blends indoor comfort with an outdoor furnished terrace or verandah to soak up the mesmerising views. Sliding louvred doors between sleeping and living spaces maximise privacy and invite the flow of fresh sea breezes. Residential-style furnishings and décor draw their inspiration from the natural surroundings: ocean, forest, sunshine or beach. Well-defined work areas allow guests to remain productive, with up-to-the-minute technology for communication and entertainment, including high-speed Internet access throughout.
