Palais L'Heure Bleue

Overview

Palais L'Heure Bleue is a luxurious riad in Essaouira, part of the Unesco patrimonial. Unusual for a riad within the medina walls, the hotel features a large rooftop heated swimming pool and sun deck. The exquisite restaurant and cosy bar on the terrace offer panoramic views of the towns, the port and the sea. At the heart of the property is a lovely interior courtyard, decorated with an ornamental fountain and towering palm trees.

Rooms

Junior Suite

The delightful rooms are decorated in the colonial African style, while the suites have different themes to reflect Essaouira’s varied history. To understand the ancient Portuguese history of this city, as it has passed through English control, you must sleep comfortably under this Portuguese ambiance, letting the clear colours of blue and ochre take over. Others prefer the colonial English and African effect and request the rooms that truly feel the tones and textures that illustrate this time past.
