Overview
The Green Hotel, which was originally a popular eighteenth century coaching inn on the main road from Edinburgh to the north, has retained an excellent reputation for warm hospitality and excellent service. A wide range of attractions are offered from fine dining to casual fayre. The Shop at The Green offers something for everyone, from formal to casual-wear, gifts to accessories. Guests can also use two highly regarded 18-hole golf courses, the Curling Rink during the winter and Gravity Health and Leisure Club at The Windlestrae, just across the road. Rooms
The rooms are located on the ground and first floor of the hotel. Rooms offer either one double bed or two single beds. They also have two four-poster rooms available. Basil’s Restaurant serves in an elegant setting varied menus that feature a subtle blend of Modern International cuisine with some Scottish influences. The Courtyard Cocktail Bar, adjacent to Basil's, is the ideal venue for pre-dinner drinks or to relax with coffee and a liqueur or a malt whisky after dinner. Jock’s Bar offers a fine selection of traditional fayre in a relaxed atmosphere from hot and cold snacks to filling bar lunches and suppers, cooked on the premises using ingredients which constitute some of Perthshire's freshest and finest.
