Horizon & Co is currently seeking qualified candidates to guide our Exploratory trips around the world. We have both immediate openings for tour guides as well as a long term need to build up a pool of qualified candidates whom we can call upon as the occasion arises. We are looking for people who lead flexible lives in different parts of the world and who harbour an obvious and innate love of travel and of making people happy - it's that simple. |

Furthermore, you are the veteran of many journeys and an expert at taking care of the needs of others, navigating the challenges of international travel, and nurturing the sort of camaraderie that can last a lifetime. You come from anywhere and everywhere, and possess a myriad of specialized skills, from fluency in obscure dead languages to mastery of arcane art-forms. You are a dedicated traveller in search of authentic experiences, hungry with curiosity about the world and keen to share your insights and enthusiasm. You also understand service as it was meant to be practiced - deferential without being fawning, personal without being presumptuous, authoritative without being rigid, responding to needs rather than dictating solutions. |

We Take Care of You & You Take Care of Our Travellers |

The Deal: We cover the costs of getting you to and from our trips. We generally provide a pre trip immediately before the trip itself which can last anywhere from 1 day to 1 week. We cover your pre-trip & trip costs (food, accommodation, transport). We pay a fee of $150 Cdn per day and we encourage our travellers to tip generously. Your relationship with us is one of an independent contractor (and if you're looking for a pension, you might want to consider another career choice in any event...)
